Understanding the Sustainable WA Prohibited and Watch Lists

Join Sustainable WA for a free educational webinar focused on pesticide use within the Sustainable WA Winegrape Standard. This session will walk growers through the history and methodology behind the Sustainable WA Prohibited and Watch Lists, including the role of PAN International's internationally recognized Highly Hazardous Pesticides list. A speaker from PAN will cover how the HHP list is developed and why it was selected as the foundation for the Sustainable WA program. Michelle Moyer from WSU Extension will present on sustainable pest management and how to use predictive models for better-timed spray decisions. Pesticide applicator recertification credits will be available for qualifying attendees. Open to Sustainable WA participants, prospective growers, chemical suppliers, and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of sustainable pesticide use in Washington viticulture.’
