Winery Cellar Leadership Program

In partnership with the Washington Winegrowers Association, Yakima Valley College is serving industry needs with new training for individuals in cellar production who wish to gain skills in leadership, winery related math conversions, and computer skills.

Winery Sanitation and Food Safety Compliance (Webinar)

Topics will inform attendees’ approaches for assessing their cleaning and sanitizing programs in order to realize where deficits exist and make corrective actions.

Roll out the Barrels (field day event)

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Presentations include best practices in evaluating and purchasing barrels, storage, and maintenance; a comparison of fermentation in different vessels; an exploration of wood choices, and an introduction to what’s new in the world of barrel management.
